If you cannot connect via FTP:
Check Connection Settings:
- Host: ftp.yourdomain.com or your server IP
- Port: 21 (FTP) or 990 (FTPS)
- Username: Your FTP username from Plesk
- Password: Your FTP password
Common Issues:
1. Passive Mode Required:
- Enable Passive (PASV) mode in your FTP client
- FileZilla: Edit > Settings > Connection > FTP > Passive mode
2. Firewall Blocking:
- Allow your FTP client through firewall
- Try port 990 for implicit FTPS
3. Wrong Credentials:
- Reset FTP password in Plesk
- Ensure you are using FTP username, not email
4. Connection Timeout:
- Try explicit TLS over port 21
- Increase timeout in FTP client settings
