How to Reset Your FTP Password Print

✅ You can reset your FTP password yourself through Plesk! No need to wait for support.

Access Plesk Quickly from WHMCS:

  1. Log into https://cp.adaptivewebhosting.com
  2. Go to Services > My Services
  3. Click on your hosting service
  4. On the left side, click "Login to Plesk" (auto-login, no password needed)

Once in Plesk - Reset FTP Password:

Method 1: Main FTP Account (System User)

  1. In Plesk, go to Websites & Domains
  2. Click "Web Hosting Access"
  3. Enter a new password in the Password field
  4. Click OK

Method 2: Additional FTP Users

  1. In Plesk, go to Websites & Domains
  2. Click "FTP Access"
  3. Find the FTP account you want to reset
  4. Click on it to edit
  5. Enter new password
  6. Click OK

Method 3: Via Users Section

  1. In Plesk, go to Websites & Domains
  2. Click "Users" in the left sidebar
  3. Find your FTP user account
  4. Click on it to edit
  5. Enter new password
  6. Click OK

Password Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • Mix of uppercase, lowercase, and numbers
  • Special characters recommended

After Resetting:

  • Update your FTP client (FileZilla, etc.) with the new password
  • Test the connection to verify it works
