Adaptive Web Hosting — Reviews & Misleading Information Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

Last Updated: June 5, 2026

This policy governs reviews, ratings, testimonials, and other public statements about Adaptive Web Hosting ("Adaptive," "we," "us," or "our") and our Services, including content posted on third-party review sites, social media, forums, and app stores. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions.

> In short: Honest reviews are always welcome. What is prohibited is posting false, misleading, or defamatory statements about Adaptive — that may result in account action and a request to remove the content.

1. Honest Reviews Are Welcome

We value genuine feedback. Customers are encouraged to share honest reviews and ratings based on their real experience with our Services.

2. Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Posting false, misleading, deceptive, defamatory, or fraudulent statements about Adaptive or its Services
  • Publishing reviews that you know, or reasonably should know, to be untrue or materially inaccurate
  • Misrepresenting your relationship with Adaptive (for example, posing as an unaffiliated customer when you are a competitor, or posting on behalf of one)
  • Using reviews to harass, threaten, intimidate, defame, or extort refunds, concessions, or other benefits from Adaptive
  • Posting confidential, private, or unlawfully obtained information
  • Coordinated or incentivized campaigns intended to artificially inflate or deflate our ratings

3. Truthfulness and Good Faith

3.1 Reviews must reflect a genuine, good-faith experience with our Services.

3.2 Any factual claim you make about our Services (for example, about uptime, billing, or support) must be accurate and not stated in a misleading way.

4. Investigation and Enforcement

4.1 Adaptive reserves the right to investigate any review or public statement suspected of being false, misleading, or otherwise in violation of this policy.

4.2 Violations may result in account suspension, service termination, or other action we deem appropriate, at our sole discretion, and may give rise to legal remedies where a statement is defamatory or fraudulent.

5. Removal Requests

Where a review violates this policy or the rules of the platform on which it appears, we may request its correction or removal from the relevant third-party platform in accordance with that platform's terms of service and applicable law.

6. Responding to Reviews

We may respond publicly to reviews to correct factual inaccuracies or provide context, while respecting customer privacy and applicable law.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on our website, and the "Last Updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
